When I decided to start Tiny Bird Events, I knew exactly what I wanted it to feel like — not just for me, but for everyone who walked through the door. I envisioned a space where people could slow down, connect, and create something beautiful together. A space that felt warm, welcoming, and filled with laughter, creativity, and good conversation.
Our very first event, Autumn Blossoms, brought that dream to life. We gathered on a cozy fall afternoon to make bouquets — surrounded by flowers, soft chatter, and the comforting hum of community. Watching everyone’s creativity unfold, seeing strangers become friends, and hearing the joy in the room reminded me why I started this journey in the first place.
For me, Tiny Bird Events isn’t just about hosting workshops; it’s about people. It’s about creating experiences that help us pause, connect, and find joy in the simple act of making something by hand. Every bouquet told a little story that day — of love, of creativity, of new beginnings.
I’m so grateful to everyone who came out and made Autumn Blossoms such a success. This is only the beginning, and I can’t wait to continue building spaces that bring people together in meaningful, memorable ways.
With Love,
Afomia
